A Partner in Our Mission

The David School

A historic school in Eastern Kentucky where we serve, build, and learn alongside students and staff.

Founded in 1974, the David School is located in the small community of David, Kentucky, from which it takes its name. The mission of The David School is to provide a comprehensive educational program for Appalachian high school dropouts and at risk youths who have limited financial resources and the potential to succeed in a non-traditional setting. Through individualized attention, we give our students the opportunity to experience success and to serve their community.

We have been lucky enough to stay at The David School since 2013. Students from The David School have donated hand made furniture to be auctioned off at the annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel Youth Ministry Musical that benefits Project H.O.P.E.. Faculty and Students personally delivered the rocking chairs to Pittsburgh and the show! For more information visit The David School website
